For the first time since we brought Asha home,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], she's chewed on destroyed two pairs of shoes of mine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], each within a week of eachother. She's not interested in any of my spouse's shoes or clothes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], only mine. He seems to think it's because he holds a more dominant role with her than I do,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but she's obedient with me and doesn't overstep any other boundaries besides this one. She'sonly 8 months old so I guess I can expect this but she's not shown any interest in my shoes up until now. I've not caught her in the act as yet so scolding her does no good until I see her doing the actual chewing. Do I just go buy some bitter apple spray,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and spray all my shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or is there a better way to deal with this?

I'm afraid that we used that same strategy -put them away and far out of their reach- because at that age they will chew on anything. Once past the chewing stage,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we could leave pretty much anything lying around and Pedro wouldn't have interest in chewing it -except for a particular baseboard chunk which to this day he continues to chew on-.
