I've recently hit 10k about the main site and also have been reviewing a lot of suggested edits,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Today I discovered a person that seems to be making edits with spam content,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The ones I found today were for xml related tags in the tag wikis and the suggested content was about buying cheap shoes from china,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Previously the answer to this was "flag their posts!" which was very reasonable. Now,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], users such as this can cause issues without ever posting a question, answer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or comment to flag.
There are strict limits enforced,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. If your user (anonymous or registered) submits many rejected edits they will be automatically banned from suggesting edits. The fixed size queue also helps protect us from abuse,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
If enough tag edits are rejected,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the user can't submit more.
In regards to the capability to flag users: Theoretically,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], flagging a person could be useful in cases such as this. Used,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it will probably become abused. People would flag users they didn't like (or had objectionable profiles) instead of their posts. Keep in mind that issues ought to be with content,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not personality conflicts. Flagging is intended to be objective. I think this would open an enormous potential abuse from the flagging system.
